Story

I initially decided to run the NY Marathon with my two friends Erin and Emma for a fun challenge following a big few years training for and competing in the Rio Olympics in rowing. However through a conversation with Tonia Cawood (CatWalk Trust Board Member), I became aware the CatWalk Trust had a team running in the NY Marathon. I was immediately compelled and excited to get involved as I have heard what amazing work the Catwalk Trust is doing. My motivation to train has definitely increased now, and Im inspired to make a difference and raise awareness for such a great cause.

The CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Research Trust

CatWalk is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of spinal cord injuries. CatWalk funds comprehensive research to address the complex challenges of spinal cord injury. We support a wide variety of initiatives – from education to research, and therapeutic development to patient care. We are paving the way to more effective treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
