My name is Erin Tolhurst and I am a Sales Manager for Johnson & Johnson. The New York Marathon has always been on my bucket list, mainly because I absolutely love both New York City and running. Last year my Sister and Mother completed the iconic event and jealousy got the better of me so I signed up for it this year. The event is going to be made even more special for me as I am going to be sharing the experience with two of my best friends. 

I have already found the NY Marathon journey so rewarding and know that running the race itself will be an experience of a lifetime. I would love for everyone to be able to have an experience like this if they choose to. It breaks my heart that people are inhibited by injuries and can't do things that most of us take for granted like walk or run.

The Catwalk Trust is funding research that can potentially lead to breakthroughs for people suffering from Spinal Cord Injuries which is incredibly exciting. The more I can help the Trust out, the closer we can get to these breakthroughs and other people being able to experience the New York Marathon as I am able to. I am incredibly excited and privileged to be a part of the Catwalk Trust NY Marathon Team.
